The 2nd Annual Craig Heisey Memorial 5k will be on June 20th, 2009!  The 5k (3.1 mile) race will once again be at Donegal High School.  Pre-registration must be postmarked by June 10, 2009 and will cost $12.00.  After June 10, the cost is $15.  Day of registration begins at 7:00 AM and the race will start at 8:30 AM.  New this year, there will be a quarter mile kid's fun run in memory of Victoria Heisey, Craig Heisey's niece who recently passed away.  In addition, this year there will be timers to give participants their splits at the first and second mile. 

The first 100 entries received will get a free race souvenir.  After the race, there will be awards, a raffle, along with food and beverages. 

Start the summer off right and enjoy the beautiful scenery of Lancaster County!

Thank you to all who helped out and participated in the 1st Annual Craig Heisey Memorial 5k!  In its first year, the race raised $1,413 to go to the Rainbow's End Youth Center and had 70 participants!  Results from last year are posted on the www.rundonegal.com web page.  Just go to the Cross Country Link. Additionally there are pictures from last year's race uploaded on the site.  Just click below to view them!
